A Tale of Overconsuming

A Tale of Overconsuming

It seems like the US is one of those countries that proclaim the environmental protection initiatives and ’works’hard on establishing energy saving programmes around the world in order to prevent the world from self consumption. However, the truth is that the US is one of the countries least affected by environmental protection programmes and the country with the highest rate of overconsumption.
The problem with consuming too much is completely typical for the United States. People in North America, as a general rule, are facing extreme consuming as the societies are governed by capitalism. The grown market is offering a variety of products which cannot completely satisfy the needs of all customers who are demanding more and more from the market economy. At one point, the market solutions appear to be bizarre and extraordinary - digital billboards, digital products that appear to have no practical application, overconsuming cars and different gadgets for your everyday life that display the best Austrian ski resort for you.
However, this leads to energy waste - electricity is being wasted, resources exhausted as the economy rushes into the extraordinary and the practicably inapplicable technology solutions. No matter how much the US is trying to enforce green legislation and environmental protection initiatives, the state fails to incorporate efficient solution as to the market. The demand is slowly decreasing but the already developed social attitude forces the producers of different goods to come up with more and more attractive products.
All these seem to be spoiling the image the North Americans are trying to proclaim - the energy saving is almost a myth in the United States, the green initiatives are still mainly on paper and the reduction of pollution seems to be quite unreal at this point. This is not likely to change soon as the US market remains the most attractive sponge-growing place for goods distribution and - a freak show as some Europeans describe it.
